The temple of Het-Hert in Qis was restored by Hatshepsut, and is noted
in this descriptive passage from the inscriptions at the Speos Artemidos:
"The temple of the Lady of Cusae
had fallen into ruin, earth had swallowed up its noble shrine and children danced upon its
roof."[1]
